The Manual Procedure Viewer (MPV) is an OPS LAN application that manages and exhibits Operations Data File (ODF) procedures.
The MPV provides the crew with capabilities to view and perform manual procedures and access other supporting data within ODF (Operations Data File) and Flight Data File (FDF) onboard shuttle. MPV provides the linkage between the manual procedures and the schematics, reference material, supporting data, and other information used by the crewmembers in support of International Space Station (ISS) operations.
The Operations Data File (ODF)/Operations Short Term Plan (OSTP) Crew Interface (OOCI) project includes design and development of state-of-the-art software applications to be used by the crew aboard the International Space Station (ISS). The software applications developed for the OOCI project are the Manual Procedure Viewer (MPV), Onboard Short Term Plan Viewer (OSTPV), and several other supporting utilities.
OOCI products provide support of electronic documentation construction and viewing, as well as management, display, and editing of the OSTP activity records on ISS crew's Personal Computing System (PCS) and Station Support Computer (SSC).
